Road to El Dorado

Have you ever seen The Road to El Dorado? Well if you haven't, it's a cartoon about two con artists, Miguel & Tulio, who pretend to be gods in order to get gold. When I saw these earrings that's the first thing that popped into my mind. I knew I had to get them. It's hard to find statement earrings that aren't over the top. I admit these aren't discreet either, but are bold enough to make a statement.

Beam of Light

Seeing as the whole beauty community went head over heels for highlighters, I was tempted to see what is the fuss all about. My highlighter of choice? Beam of light from KIKO's On-The-Go Minis limited edition. First of all I would like to address the most amazing scent EVER, it literally smells like cookies! Scent aside, the product is really amazing, finely milled powder without obvious flecks of shimmer. I have the color Sand which is perfect or warmer skin tones. It gives you the most amazing healthy glow and is perfect for enhancing your tan.

Rebel Romantic

The lipsticks with the most luxurious packaging ever, the Intensely Lavish lipsticks from Kiko. I'm not going to lie, the first thing that drew me to this lipsticks was the mirror gold packaging and after swatching them I was in love. The range contains 6 shades, I have Lusty Peony(the lighter one) & Pretty Mauve(the darker one, first from the left) with the matching lipliner, the only way I can describe the colors is a peony and a mauve but with a prominent reddy brown undertone that gives them a very mature vibe. I initially bought the mauve for my mom, but I find myself also reaching for it. Their texture? Out of this world, creamy, opaque and surprisingly long lasting.

Purple Reign

As far as shadows go I've always been a neutrals lover, but the first shadow that my mom bought me was a lavender one. I love it to death, I think I still own it. Being a brown eyed (I like to think of them as hazel), it's hard to find a suitable tone of shadow that will make your eyes pop. Recently I have found that mauve eyeshadows make my eyes really stand out. One of my favorites is this Kiko one, it's one of their Infinity shadows in 244 it's a mauvey/purple(kinda neutral) with some silver shimmer in it. Dare I say a crowd pleaser that looks amazing on any eye color.

Red is all the rage

If you were to ask me a year ago if I owned any red item, the answer would be absolutely no.

When it comes to clothing, things can't get more neutral than black and white. Since black is out of the picture for summer, white becomes your new best friend. For this summer I ditched my black bag for a white one with some gold studs.
